'Sista in the Brotherhood', a Film by Roberta Hunte and Dawn Jones Redstone

Sista in the Brotherhood is a film by Roberta Hunte and Dawn Jones Redstone, telling the story of a female, black apprentice carpenter struggling to prove herself in a white, male-dominated construction workforce, and the inspiration she receives from a surprising source to help her decide whether to make a stand or risk never being recognized as the skilled worker she has become. PSU Master of Architecture alumna and adjunct instructor Julia Mollner brings us this film.
